EFG International opens new wealth management office in Florida

Zurich, 11 March 2010 – EFG International expands in the Americas by establishing a wealth management office in Key Biscayne
EFG International’s principal wealth management business in the United States, EFG Capital, has established an office in Key Biscayne, Florida. It will work closely with EFG Capital’s main office in Miami. EFG Capital also maintains offices in New York and Los Angeles, and this new office increases the total number of employees in the United States to 145, an increase of 65% since 2007.
The Key Biscayne office will accommodate a group of highly qualified wealth management practitioners, led by Mario E. Fernández. Fernández has over 20 years of financial services experience and extensive knowledge in providing wealth advisory services to international families.
Fernández is supported by a group with more than 75 years of relevant experience between them, assisting high net worth individuals and families with complex international financial needs. The team comprises Alexandra Rumie; Jeanette Barker; Henry De Valle; and María Luisa De Jesús. It will focus on providing family wealth services, portfolio and risk management, estate planning and wealth structuring.
