EFG International establishes presence in Uruguay

Zurich, 20 May 2010. EFG International is extending its presence in LatinAmerica by establishing offices in Montevideo and Punta del Este.
EFG Bank AG, Switzerland, headquartered in Zurich, has opened two Representative Offices in Uruguay, in the cities of Montevideo and Punta del Este. These new offices are a reflection of EFG’s commitment to the Latin American region.
The business in Uruguay will be headed by Mara Mattozo, who has over 25 years’ experience in private banking with American Express Bank and Banque Nationale de Paris. Ms. Mattozo oversees a high quality team of Client Relationship Officers, each with more than 20 years’ experience, namely: Gabriel Ustinelli Bustillo, Rodolfo Barrios Borda, and Alicia Osácar de Thul. The latter will be responsible for the office in Punta del Este.
