EFG Bank Mandrake wins the "Big Boat Series" in Hong Kong by one point. Sailed over two weekends in the  choppy waters to the East of Hong Kong, EFG Bank Mandrake succeeded in clocking up 4 firsts, a second, and a third to win overall in moderate to heavy conditions...

The next race is the San Fernando race from Hong Kong to the Phillipines starting 20th April, followed by the Koh Samui Regatta Thailand, 30th may to 4th June 2011 and then a return to Hong Kong for the Typhoon series in the summer.

Big Mandrake has been sold, and the new owner reports great success in the Hainan race. She will be kept at Long Cheer Yacht Club, Shenzen, China, roughly 40 miles east of Hong Kong.
