Background
The Melges 24 is a highly popular one design boat, designed by Buddy Megles in the style of the the winning Americas Cup boat in 1992. Since the launch of the first boat, "Zenda Express“, in 1993, more than 600 boats have been launched in over 20 countries, with many competing at international level.
